Cartography of Stillness series

Within the series, the artworks expand the idea of mapping beyond geography. It proposes that every landscape contains an unseen language of connection, where earth, life, and memory are woven together into a living archive.

It is an exploration of imagined maps, memory, geology, and the unseen relationships that shape our experience of place. Rather than mapping locations, I'm interested in mapping the connections that exist beneath the visible surface.

As a contemporary New Zealand artist, I'm constantly inspired by the way our landscapes hold history, memory, and life within their layers.
